www.updghana.com can confirm that about 10 teachers of the Madina based Presec Basic School ‘A & B’ are set to be reassigned by next week.

The school is currently facing massive shakeup in other words transfers and reassignments coupled with the closure of the 360 populated Presec Basic School ‘C’.

Accusing fingers have been pointed to the new La Nkawtanang Municipal Education Director Patty Assan. It has been alleged that, she is overly autocratic and anyone who stands her way must fall. While some believe that, Madam Patty Assan is deliberately destabilizing frontiers of the award winning basic school for her parochial interes others claim head teachers together with the Director are to be blamed for the mess.

We have gathered that, some teachers among the first tsunami of mass transfer or redesigning have refused to move an inch.

“We won’t go anywhere, i didn’t even take my letter. They have to explain to us, reasons behind this sudden mass transfer….”

Before even the dust settles on the 21 transfered this week, Madam Patty Assan is up with another reassignment list. The teachers are worried over this “unexplained” re-engagement, “we don’t know who is next”, a victim told Kofi Asante Mensah in an interview.

“Maybe she want to tell us that teaching and learning with high population like 80pupils either than 45 or 50 is better, my brother UNESCO and Ghana Education Service frown upon this” another angry reassigned teacher laments.
